學(xué)校簡介(Introduction of the University)
始建于1851年的德比大學(xué)是一所優(yōu)秀的現(xiàn)代化的大學(xué)，坐落于英格蘭中心位置的德比郡，德比市。 德比郡是英國最美的國家風(fēng)景區(qū)峰區(qū)的所在地，市區(qū)距倫敦，伯明翰和曼徹斯特只需一個半小時的車程。德比大學(xué)擁有七個主校區(qū)，分別位于德比市中心和峰區(qū)。其中峰區(qū)的巴克斯校區(qū)位于英國知名的溫泉圣地。

在“衛(wèi)報大學(xué)指南2018”中，德比大學(xué)排名第54位。學(xué)校多達(dá)300多種不同學(xué)科中，旅游，酒店，休閑管理，時尚，設(shè)計及紡織品專業(yè)全英排名前二十（衛(wèi)報2018）。學(xué)校的重點(diǎn)學(xué)科，藝術(shù)設(shè)計和時尚設(shè)計培養(yǎng)了多位世界級的高等設(shè)計師，目前就職于包括亞歷山大麥昆，Miumiu 等多個頂級品牌。學(xué)校的電影和傳媒專業(yè)也培養(yǎng)了多位奧斯卡，BFTA 影視獎項(xiàng)的得主。
